For our 4 year anniversary launch, we wanted to make a splash. Contra has always been creative, freelancer, and independent first, so we needed to make a video that resonated with our core audience.

We teamed up with Dann Petty and his production studio Video Garden to try and make something memorable. We chose Nashville as the shooting location and landed on two core scenes. The Cafe which represents the new way, and and old stuffy corporate Office that represents the old way.

The script and story board was a collaboration between Dann, his team at Video Garden and the internal team at Contra.

Starting with sketches and frame ideas really helped bring the vision to life before we shot anything.

This was handled by Dann and his team and was the most time consuming part to get right. Picking the right lead actress made the whole video.
