Process:
Performed an initial network scan using Nmap to map the network topology and identify active hosts and services.
Conducted a detailed vulnerability assessment using OpenVAS to identify security weaknesses.
Analyzed the findings and provided a prioritized list of vulnerabilities.
Developed and implemented remediation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
Conducted a follow-up assessment to verify the effectiveness of remediation efforts.
Outcomes:
Identified and mitigated high-risk vulnerabilities within the corporate network.
Improved the overall security posture by implementing effective remediation strategies.
