What they wanted

They wanted me to ghostwrite a one-week LinkedIn content for a Founder. The brief was detailed.

What I did

  • I researched the required founder persona and target audience. I found out all the details that would help my content sound exactly like the fintech founder.
  • I created content pillars based on the interests and personality of the person I was writing for.
  • I created a content bucket based on all the major content pillars.
  • I decided what content type would be ideal for each day: Informative, educational, entertaining, or inspiring content.
  • I wrote down the content big ideas after a session of brainstorming.
  • I developed the content ideas using the required brand tone.
  • I included a good hook and a CTA for each content.
  • I included relevant hashtags and recommended some images to include.
  • I read the content out loud and did my last rounds of edits to ensure easy readability.

The result

I created the most organized and strategic content calendar ready to be scheduled for use anytime.

A typical day's content looked like this:

Day One: Monday

Content type: Inspirational

Content big idea: Reading books

Content:

Hook: What book are you currently reading?

One self-development goal you must have in 2024 is reading more books.

I’ve been reading The 5am Club by Robin Sharma and it’s been a huge turning point for me.

Here are some benefits I’ve gotten from reading:

📌 Mental stimulation: Especially if you’re a founder or run a business, you need books to open you up to ideas, perspectives, and new thinking patterns.

📌 Business help: I remember reading Seth Godin’s Tribe and wondering how so much information was available there. Books are a great place to find help for your business needs.

📌 Entertainment: In the midst of all the work you get to do as a business owner, it’s relaxing to pick up your favorite book as you unwind for the day.

If you find it difficult to read books, there are a few things you can do:

  1. Read what you like. There’s no restriction. You can read novels, nonfiction, self help and even middle grade literature if that’s what you like.
  2. Be accountable to someone. An accountability partner keeps you on your toes.
  3. Read in bits. There’s no rush. Read as much as you want and continue later.
  4. Join a community of readers.

CTA: What book are you reading? You may just find someone who’s also reading that book.

Hashtags: #startupfounder #readingcommunity

KPIs: Number of comments and likes and post impressions.

Image: A picture of a book or the client reading a book.

Tucker was pleased with my work.

In all, it was an intriguing project and could be repurposed on other social media platforms.
