This project showcases a range of custom packaging designs for cannabis pre-rolls and vape cartridges, created for a USA-based cannabis company aiming to build a premium and recognizable brand identity in a highly competitive market. The focus was to develop packaging that speaks both to regulatory compliance and modern visual appeal.

🔸 Challenge 1: Working Within Strict Compliance Requirements Cannabis packaging in the U.S. must include multiple mandatory elements (warnings, THC %, tamper-evident areas, and child-safe seals). I developed layout templates that allow these requirements to be added without cluttering the visual identity — using strategic white space and background overlays.

🔸 Challenge 2: Designing for Two Product Types With Unified Aesthetic Pre-rolls and vape carts are different in size and shape, but needed to look like one brand family. To solve this, I created a modular design system where colors, icons, and layout grids stayed consistent across all SKUs while adjusting to product dimensions.

🔸 Challenge 3: Brand Recognition & Retail Visibility With many cannabis products competing on dispensary shelves, I incorporated bold typography, vibrant accent colors, and custom iconography to ensure immediate attention and clear differentiation. This included logo integration and product feature callouts.
