I built an internal profit analyzer for a software development agency that integrates seamlessly with ClickUp. The tool automatically pulls project data such as scope, progress, budget, resource allocation, hourly rates, and reviews to generate a profit/loss breakdown across all projects.
With intuitive dashboards and time-based comparisons (monthly, yearly, and project-level), the tool gave the leadership team clear visibility into project performance and profitability—something spreadsheets and manual tracking couldn’t achieve.
Client's Requirement
The agency struggled with tracking true project profitability. They used ClickUp for project management but lacked financial insights—budgets, resource allocation, and profit margins were siloed across tools.
