Attracted 8,000+ applications and 40+ sponsors by planning and executing marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising channels
Collaborated cross-functionally to develop targeted email campaigns, averaging 10,000+ views per newsletter and driving an increase in brand awareness and talent acquisition for sponsors
Answered 50+ weekly support inquiries, re-routing questions and information to the respective stakeholders, escalating issues when needed, and providing clear, timely responses to participants and partners

Every year as hacker applications for Hack the North roll out, the marketing team gathers testimonials from hackers that participated in the previous year to share their experience attending Hack the North.
These testimonials help prospective hacker applicants learn more about what Hack the North has to offer as an event such as hardware and software resources, mentorship, activities, food, and more!

As part of the hacker application marketing campaign, I took part in the copywriting for the email announcement for Hack the North’s newsletter subscribers (1100+) .
SPONSORSHIP NEWSLETTERS
One of the perks that Hack the North offers their sponsors is a feature in our monthly newsletters! Here sponsors can choose to share opportunities (such as networking events), job postings, and more!

During the event weekend, posters are displayed in the elevators to encourage hackers to partake in the activities and meetups that Hack the North has to offer.
