A Small Batch Coffee Roastery

Client History (EN)

The Java Framework roast specialty coffee by combining the precision of technology with the art of small batch roasting. We cater to everyone who enjoys coffee using beans that are sourced directly from the farm. Each coffee bag also provides detailed information about each coffee’s origin, harvest, and roasting process.

Main Objective (EN)

Designing a visual identity under the name “The Java Framework” with a unique name that has many meanings. Obviously Java is a popular name to represent coffee. The Framework represents the structure and detailed information provided for each roasted coffee. The name is also a nod to the software development community as Java is a popular programming language and Framework is a term that describes tools to help use the programming language.

Challenges & Solutions (EN)

Combining coffee and programming language with a form that has continuity between the 2 keywords with a slightly classic style. Looking for an object that depicts coffee and programming language by combining the shape of coffee beans and programming language (/) so that it has a double meaning of coffee and programming.

Research & Concept (EN)

Search for keyword data that describes coffee and programming languages, until 2 keywords are found as logo shapers, namely coffee beans and programming languages (/). In the design and development process, it focuses on the keywords that have been found, namely coffee beans and (/) with several options in terms of shape, color and layout.

Design & Execution (EN)

The sketching and digitizing process uses the Adobe Illustrator application and the application of the media is using Adobe Photoshop.
