The Brief

The founder of Midian Solutionz, a diaspora concierge consulting company serving Africans in the diaspora and other immigrant communities, needed both a brand identity built from scratch and a full website to launch their digital presence. There was no logo, no visual language, no web presence. Just a mission and a vision.
I was tasked with crafting the complete brand identity including logo, color system, typography, and brand rationale, and then translating that identity into a fully built, multi-page Framer website. From first mark to final deployment, this was an end-to-end brand and web project.

The Challenges

1. Designing an identity for a nuanced, emotionally charged mission Midian Solutionz serves people navigating some of the hardest seasons of their lives, leaving home, rebuilding in a new country, learning unfamiliar systems. The brand needed to feel premium and credible, without losing the warmth, dignity, and cultural resonance the audience deserved.
2. Creating a logo with layered meaning A generic globe or handshake icon wasn't going to cut it. The brand needed a mark with genuine depth, one that communicated arrival, empowerment, journey, and guidance all at once, while remaining clean and scalable.
3. Translating the brand into a website that converts Once the identity was established, the Framer site needed to carry that same weight, communicating a complex, multi-service offering clearly enough that both individuals seeking help and organizations looking to partner would immediately understand the value.
4. Performance and scalability in Framer The site needed to load fast, feel premium across all devices, and be built modularly so the team could grow it — new pages, services, blog posts — without touching code.

My Approach

Brand Strategy & Identity Started by defining the core metaphor: The Anchor & The Horizon. Rather than using a literal globe or generic migration imagery, I designed a seal-like emblem that distills the emotional journey of the diaspora into a single mark.
The logo system was built with five deliberate layers of meaning:
The "M" monogram constructed as a bridge or gate — Midian as the entry point into a new life
The rising sun with radial lines — representing hope, new beginnings, and enlightenment
The wave base — acknowledging the ocean journey while placing stability firmly above it
The globe meridians — communicating global, international, diaspora without visual noise
The seal format — projecting credibility, authority, and trust
Color & Typography Built a three-color palette of Violet (#4D067B)Dark Gold (#B28F48), and Light Gold (#E2BD6B), regal, culturally resonant, and distinct in a space full of clinical blue-and-white brands. Typography paired Trajan (serif, classical authority) with Montserrat (modern, accessible clarity) to bridge heritage and forward motion.
Brand Applications Rolled out the identity across merch mockups (polo, snapback cap), stationery (notepad, pen), and embossed leather, demonstrating real-world brand cohesion and premium feel across touchpoints.
Framer Website Structured the site as a narrative journey across five pages: Home, About, Services, Partnerships, and Book a Consultation. The homepage flows from Hero → Who We Are → Why It Matters → What We Do → How We Work → Who We Serve → Partnerships — guiding the visitor from curiosity to trust to action.
Built a modular component library (20+ components) including a custom Reveal_Text.tsx code component for animated text reveals, a sticky-scroll 4-step process section, service cards, and native Framer inquiry forms for both consultations and partnerships. Fully responsive across Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Mobile.
