Rogue Ocean is an Irish unisex jewelry brand whose products are made primarily from recycled gold and silver. Each piece is designed with a story behind it. While Rogue Ocean's outstanding jewelry speaks for itself, the vibe and energy that the brand creates are what truly keep people coming back. They want to be a brand that represents the adventurers, the go-getters and the dream seekers, who want to live life to their fullest potential. They also look for a brand identity that is timeless and luxurious.

Working on this project, I combined a lot of "contrasting" elements to achieve the perfect balance between the bold energy and the high-class image of the brand. I chose a sophisticated serif font and a simple brandmark that represents a rogue wave. To add a unique touch that can speak to the adventurous customers of Rogue Ocean, I went for a contrast between boldness and grace through the use of different font weights within the logotype.

Similarly, the chosen color palette includes a deep ocean blue and a warm rustic red. With such a visually evocative brand name, I feel like the blue color is a "must", while the red brings out more of the vigorous and passionate side of the brand. Together, they make a powerful yet classic statement, creating an eye-catching look that differentiates Rogue Ocean from other luxury jewelry brand.
