Building a Frozen Yogurt Brand from the Ground Up by Grace Pereda @ Graceful StudioBuilding a Frozen Yogurt Brand from the Ground Up by Grace Pereda @ Graceful Studio
When Yogge contacted Graceful Studio, the business was still in its early stages. The founders were developing a frozen yogurt concept focused on offering children and families a delicious, nutritious and accessible alternative to traditional sweets.
The vision was to establish small stores near schools and in lower-income communities, offering frozen yogurt at an accessible price. We began with the visual identity and helped build the foundations of the brand from the ground up.
Today, Yogge has grown to four locations across Southern Mexico, with plans and interest for further expansion.
The Challenge
Yogge needed a brand that felt friendly, modern, recognizable and high-quality, while remaining accessible to its core audience.
The challenge was finding the right balance: creating a polished brand without making the product feel expensive or exclusive. The visual identity needed to work across stores, packaging, social media and future franchise locations while remaining consistent and easy to recognize.
The goal wasn’t to make Yogge look cheap to communicate affordability. It was to show that an accessible product can still have great design and a strong brand experience.
Our Role
Graceful Studio became involved from the early stages of the project, starting with the logo and developing the visual foundation of the brand.
Our work included brand identity, color and typography, brand guidelines, mascot development, social media content, product imagery, franchise presentation materials and ongoing creative direction.
Rather than treating each element as a separate deliverable, we approached the project as one connected visual system designed to support the brand as it grows.
Building the Brand
The identity was intentionally kept clean, approachable and flexible. Color, typography and visual composition were developed to create recognition without overwhelming the product.
We also established guidelines to ensure the brand could remain consistent across different locations and future applications, giving franchise partners and other designers a clear reference to follow.
Creating Yogge’s Mascot
The mascot became an important part of the brand’s personality.
We developed the character through three stages, from its original furry form to its younger and fully developed versions. This created opportunities for storytelling while giving Yogge a distinctive visual character that could be used across digital and physical applications.
The result is a mascot designed to feel playful, friendly and memorable, helping create an emotional connection with the audience.
Supporting Franchise Growth
Yogge was never intended to remain a single-location business. As the concept developed, the brand also needed to communicate its opportunity to potential franchise partners.
Graceful Studio created the franchise pitch deck, presenting the concept and business opportunity in a clear and professional way while maintaining the visual language established for the brand.
This allowed the identity to function not only as a customer-facing tool, but also as part of the company’s growth and expansion strategy.
From Branding to Creative Direction
As Yogge moved from concept to operating locations, our role expanded beyond the original identity project.
We continue to support the brand through creative direction, visual content and ongoing brand guidance, helping maintain consistency as new locations and applications are developed.
The project has evolved from creating a logo into building a visual system capable of supporting a growing business.
The Result
What started as an early-stage concept has become a growing frozen yogurt brand with four locations across Southern Mexico, with additional franchise interest and plans for strategic expansion.
For Graceful Studio, the success of the project isn’t only seeing the identity applied to a storefront. It’s seeing the brand move from an idea into a real business—and knowing that the visual foundation we created is now supporting that growth.
From the first logo to the first locations, Yogge is a brand built to grow.
