Michelle Ryckman
Problem:
I worked for a publicly-held Fortune 100 company that was undergoing a significant confidential corporate change. As the communications and change management lead, my role involved working with executives and cross functional teams that touched every department (HR, Operations, Investor Relations, Finance, IT, Marketing, etc.), as well as external partners.
Action:
I led the planning, development and messaging that summarized the project, key changes, budget, timing and impact to various audience groups. I worked with executives (C-level, to Directors, to their teams) to create individualized plans including messaging and deliverables for their respective departments including the C-suite teams to ensure the plans were in place, operating as intended, met their objectives, and to make adjustments as needed.
Result:
Successful execution of the project plan including a new company. The project was initially scoped for 6 months and lasted over 2 years due the number of change orders and complexities involved.
