AGY™ (A Glam You®) is a beauty brand on a mission to redefine industry standards by celebrating authentic, unfiltered beauty. I partnered with AGY® to craft a brand identity that radiates confidence and elegance, delivering a cohesive system—from logo to website—that empowers women to embrace their true selves. The result? A transformative identity that earned glowing praise from the founder. Client: AGY® - A Glam You.

The Challenge We Faced

Every woman deserves to feel confident and beautiful in her skin. A Glam You® is more than just a beauty company - we're a catalyst for empowerment designed to help and support women explore and express their authentic beauty.
What we were up against was simple: the beauty industry is obsessed with perfection. But real life is not perfect, and neither is real beauty. We were challenged to create an identity for the brand that celebrates that, and we were breaking down many outdated rules and expectations.

AGY® needed a brand identity that stood out in a perfection-obsessed beauty industry. The goal was to create a minimalist, timeless design that challenged norms, connected emotionally with women, and scaled across digital and physical touchpoints for a seamless launch.

Process

I started by immersing myself in AGY®’s vision, observing the raw energy of real beauty in everyday life—drawing inspiration from candid conversations and subtle imperfections. I sketched concepts that balanced elegance with boldness, iterating closely with the founder to ensure alignment. Using my expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma, I brought the identity to life with a focus on scalability and consistency.

Design Breakdown

Logo Design: The "A Glam You®" wordmark uses a refined serif font to convey elegance, with flowing letterforms that echo the softness of authentic beauty. The icon is a thoughtful combination of the initials A Glam You, with its sharp angles and smooth curves, symbolizes individuality.
Visual Identity: I chose a monochrome base—crisp black and white—for timeless versatility, adding blush pink as a subtle accent to evoke warmth and femininity, aligning with AGY®’s empowering ethos.
Typography and Packaging: Paired the serif logo with a clean sans-serif (Mena) for supporting text, ensuring readability. Packaging designs are minimalist, with white backgrounds and black text, using blush pink sparingly for product highlights.

Solution

Timeless Logo Suite: Designed an elegant serif wordmark ("A Glam You®") and a geometric icon, symbolizing strength and individuality which is also a thoughtful combination of the initials A Glam You.
Unified Visual Identity: Crafted a monochrome palette with soft blush accents, paired with modern typography for versatility.
Minimalist Packaging: Created clean, sustainable designs that highlight authenticity on beauty products.
Brand Guidelines: Delivered a 30-page guide to ensure consistency as AGY® grows.

Timeline

The project spanned 2 weeks, ensuring thorough collaboration and refinement:
Week 1: Discovery and research. Mood boards. Initial sketches. Logo and visual identity development with client feedback rounds.
Week 2: Packaging design. Mockup and collaterals. Social Media Kit. Review & delivery.

Impact

The founder praised the identity for its emotional resonance and market-ready polish, noting how it perfectly captured AGY®’s ethos. The scalable design system positioned AGY® for a confident launch, ready to connect with its audience across platforms.
