At devX, I worked on creating a new section of their website dedicated to showcasing events and meetups organized for the developer community. The page highlights both upcoming and past events, helping the company better engage with their audience.
My Role
As both Designer and Framer Developer, I led the design and implementation of this feature from start to finish.
Proccess
Design Phase:
I started by designing the entire page in Figma, focusing on a clean, dynamic layout that would make event discovery easy. I gathered feedback from the devX team and iterated on the design before moving to development.
Framer Development:
Once approved, I built the full layout in Framer, ensuring responsiveness and a smooth user experience. Each past event has its own dedicated page featuring a description and a video recap of the event presentation.
CMS Integration:
A key goal for the client was to easily manage upcoming and past events. To achieve this, I set up a CMS structure connected to Airtable, allowing the team to update content directly from their database without touching the site’s code.
Result
The final product provided devX with a scalable and easy-to-maintain events hub that integrates design consistency, dynamic content, and a seamless workflow between Framer and Airtable.
The new DevX meetups page is a dedicated space to highlight their involvement in the developer community. It streamlined how they share upcoming and past events
