Case Study - Contra UI Elements

Working with Contra was a great experience. The design team and I were very excited to work together. They initially shared some concept brief with me to get started and inspired.

Problem: Contra wanted to refresh their website visuals with unique, premium-feeling 3D icons that could reinforce their brand identity and make the interface more engaging. Their existing icons felt flat and lacked the sense of depth and craft they were aiming for.

Solution: Collaborating closely with their design team, I developed a cohesive set of glass-like 3D icons with a subtle iridescent finish. I explored different forms and lighting techniques to achieve the right balance between clarity, elegance, and playfulness, ensuring each icon worked well both individually and as part of a consistent visual system.

Outcome: The new icon set elevated Contra’s digital presence, giving their website a distinctive, high-end look while aligning with their creative brand personality. The icons became versatile visual elements that could be used across their platform, marketing materials, and social content.
