Problem: SrivatsanLab needed visually compelling assets to represent their advanced biology research on their website. Standard stock imagery lacked the accuracy and uniqueness required to communicate the complexity of their work in areas like sequencing biochemistry and cellular modeling.

Solution: I produced two bespoke 3D renders: one abstract visualization highlighting the concepts of measurement, modeling, and synthesis through animated molecular forms; and another scientific render showing detailed atoms, molecules, and cell structures. These visuals were carefully lit and styled to reflect both precision and creativity, making the science accessible while maintaining credibility.

Outcome: The renders became central visuals on the Srivatsan Lab website, enhancing the storytelling around their research focus areas. By pairing abstract molecular motion with detailed cellular structures, the lab was able to present its science in a way that was engaging for both expert and general audiences, strengthening their online presence and brand identity.

We tried to visualize molecules with wood, cork, and glass materials.

This bottom one, I really like it. Just looks like candy. And it was going to show the cell division when I animated them. But we changed our minds again and went in other directions.

Some "under microscope" tests here, trying find the good density for it.

Added some shadows and dept of field.

Here I tried to move things to the side so on the website we can have blank space to put headings and texts.
