This is an animation I created to help spread awareness about autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease. I started by creating the 3D model in ZBrush. I use multiple reference photos to make the diseased kidney as realistic as possible. Then I uploaded the finished model to Keyshot where I added materials and light source to make it look a bit more realistic. The final step was to add all of my assets to After Effects to make one cohesive and engaging animation! I started in ZBrush with basic shapes and slowly started building in the details.

After the model was finished in ZBrush, I used Keyshot to apply some more materials and render out the .pngs I would use later for the animation.

After all of the images were rendered, I used them to put together the animation in After Effects! I added background music, animated the text to explain the disease, and animated the model so it would move to key points on the screen.
