Kucha Nail Parlour — Brand Identity & Marketing Design

Kucha Nail Parlour is a new nail salon based in Mumias, Kenya, starting from zero. No logo, no brand identity, no marketing materials. The owner had a clear vision: something fun, vibrant, and playful, with bright pink as the anchor color. They needed a complete brand identity that would feel energetic and memorable while still reading as professional.

I took the client's starting point (bright pink, playful energy) and built a full identity system around it. The entire project was turned around in 5 days.

Visual Direction: I leaned into the pink palette and paired it with typography that carries a fun, playful feel without losing legibility. The goal was a brand that feels approachable and youthful, the kind of identity that makes someone stop scrolling and want to book an appointment.

Logo Design: I designed the logo and variations, delivering final files in both PNG for digital use and PDF for print. The logo works across social media, signage, and packaging at any size.

Brand Guidelines: I documented everything into a brand guidelines PDF covering logo usage, color palette, typography, and application examples. The document is designed to be shared with printers, signage vendors, or anyone the client works with in the future, so the brand stays consistent without needing a designer in the room.

Packaging Design: I created packaging design for the salon's branded materials, keeping the playful identity consistent across every physical touchpoint.
