Eye Surgeons

Eye Surgeons is a specialist ophthalmology clinic with five locations across New Zealand. We partnered with the team to build a complete brand and digital presence, from a new visual identity and physical brand materials to the UX/UI design and development of a comprehensive, responsive website.

The goal was to create an experience that feels clean, modern, clinical, and trustworthy, while making complex medical information easy for patients to navigate and understand.

We started by creating a minimal logo and complete visual identity for Eye Surgeons. Rather than relying on traditional healthcare aesthetics, we developed a contemporary visual system that communicates precision, expertise, and trust while remaining approachable.

The identity was then extended across real-world applications, including clinic signage, lightboxes, banners, brochures, and other branded materials, creating a consistent experience across the clinic's five locations and digital presence.

The website contains a significant amount of information, including treatments, surgeons, locations, team members, pricing, patient resources, referrals, blog content, and contact and booking pathways.

We began by structuring the information architecture and creating wireframes to simplify these complex content flows. The UX was designed around helping different audiences; including patients and referring professionals, quickly find the right information, specialist, treatment, or next step.

Building on the new brand identity, we designed the complete website experience in Figma, including responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

The interface combines a highly clean visual system with strong typography, structured content, intuitive navigation, search and filtering, and clear calls to action. Surgeon profiles and treatment pages were designed to make detailed clinical information easier to explore without overwhelming the user.

Motion became an important part of translating the new identity into a modern digital experience. We designed scroll-based animations, micro-interactions, animated icons, and custom icon illustrations throughout the website.

Rather than using animation purely for decoration, interactions were designed to guide attention, improve content discovery, and give the website a more polished and distinctive experience while preserving the clarity expected from a healthcare platform.

We also developed a WordPress management panel, allowing the Eye Surgeons team to manage and update website content while maintaining the established design system.

The result is more than a rebrand or website redesign. It is a complete brand and digital ecosystem connecting Eye Surgeons' visual identity, physical clinic presence, UX strategy, website design, motion language, and development.

The website is now live and actively used by the clinic, providing patients with a clearer way to discover treatments, explore surgeons and locations, access important information, and move toward booking care.
