A few years back, the T-Mobile site wasn't what it's today, it was a very boring and slow website, hard to use, and not was doing a good job with engaging existing and potential customers, here is proof of that.

When I joined the team, this project was at a very early stage, they were analyzing and approving design mockups to be implemented.

I came onboard not to decide what technology to use, that decision was already made, but I very happily embraced the choice, since it was the more stable and more popular option at that time Angular, I was familiar with the framework since I used it on previous projects, my main goal was to teach and lead a couple of teams, along with helping them with POCs (Proof of Concept), to get the approved designs implemented.

We implemented a lot of different things from UI component libraries to external apps to be used on POS (Point of Sale), we did shine on setting a very good foundation using good practices like TDD, since this project has very high visibility is really necessary to have a very robust set of tests.

We used AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) as CMS (Content Management System), that way they have the tools to customize the experience easily.
