Colgate Connect: Mobile Product Design and Motion

Colgate Connect is a mobile product built around a connected toothbrush. From July 2021 to December 2024, I contributed across Android and iOS, combining UX, UI, feature exploration, and vector motion.

I led UX and UI design for the Android experience, proposed new features for iOS, and created vector animations for both platforms.

My contribution focused on product design and motion within a broader cross-functional effort. I was not responsible for the entire product or its engineering implementation.

My Android work covered user flows, interface structure, visual states, and detailed screen design. I treated the experience as a connected product rather than a collection of isolated screens.

The work focused on making device feedback, brushing data, and the next action clear across different states.

Alongside the Android work, I translated product ideas into interface concepts for iOS. These explorations considered native platform conventions and the wider Colgate Connect ecosystem.

The concepts helped evaluate how the product could evolve. They should not be read as a claim that every proposed feature was released.

I created lightweight vector animations for Android and iOS using Lottie. Motion was treated as part of the interface, supporting feedback and helping interactions feel easier to follow.
