My role started where the script ended – I was responsible for translating words into visual storytelling.
Each storyboard was a mini-narrative, carefully built to convey complex ideas with clarity and charm. I collaborated closely with scriptwriters and motion designers to ensure the story flowed well and left room for smooth animation.
The projects featured here were made for well-known clients such as JIRA, Bitrix24, Kaspersky, and Replyco.
The visuals were usually kept simple and clean, with an emphasis on intuitive scenes, subtle humor, and easy-to-follow logic.
I loved bringing little character moments into the frames – a raised eyebrow, a floating coffee cup, a curious cat in the background – details that made these tech stories more human.
Here are a few more examples of the final videos these storyboards were created for. Each one started as a series of pencil sketches and evolved into a fully animated explainer, crafted in close collaboration with the Alconost team.
Alongside storyboard and video work, I also illustrated the Alconost blog over the course of several years.
The blog covers a wide range of topics – from localization and SaaS to tech industry insights – and I was responsible for creating eye-catching, thoughtful visuals to complement each article.
Over time, I developed a consistent illustration style and a cast of original characters that gave the blog a friendly, recognizable voice.
These visual elements helped bring clarity to technical subjects and added personality to the brand's tone of communication.
As the blog expanded, I created a comprehensive illustration guide to keep the visual language cohesive across all posts and future projects.
Working with Alconost allowed me to explore a unique intersection of storytelling, illustration, and tech. From building narratives frame by frame to shaping a visual voice for their brand, every project was a chance to combine clarity with character.
I'm grateful for the creative freedom and trust the team gave me – and proud to see these illustrations and videos continue to speak for the brand in such a dynamic industry.
