Self-initiated concept for an artist portfolio. Paintings drift into view and dissolve into one another through a shader-based ink transition. Opening a painting through its frame reveals the details view, placing the visitor inside the work’s world.

The frame is the recurring navigation object, visitors learn the interaction once. Each transition makes the next work feel discovered without a loading state/page change visible as to ensure a seamless experience from one place to another regardless of the list or details view.

This started as a far less advanced concept for an artist a year ago that got stopped short and never it further to prod that a concept. This is the same idea pushed into an actual curated gallery, multiple works, real navigation, an artist credited by name, after a year of creative coding progress.

No client attached (anymore) yet. I would really love to manifest it into a real portfolio site for an artist!
