The Client

Seabob Partner is an established organization operating at a scale that demands precision in both internal workflows and client-facing communication. When they needed a centralized system to replace scattered manual processes, they brought me on to design and build it from scratch.

The Problem

Their team was managing in-office operations across disconnected tools: task tracking lived in one place, project stages in another, and client estimates were being assembled manually each time. The result was slow turnaround on estimates, miscommunication between team members, and no single source of truth for project status.

What I Built

A custom portal with two core modules:
Internal Operations Dashboard
Task management system organized by project stage, so every team member sees exactly where work stands
Role-based access so office staff, project managers, and leadership each see what's relevant to them
Status tracking across project lifecycle, from intake through completion
Client Estimation Engine
Structured estimate builder that pulls from predefined service categories and pricing
Professional, branded estimate output that clients receive directly
Estimate history and versioning so the team can reference or revise past quotes
The entire system runs on one centralized platform, replacing the patchwork of spreadsheets and manual handoffs that existed before.

The Collaboration

This was my first project at this scale, and the requirements gathering process reflected that. I worked directly with Seabob Partner's team to map their existing workflows before writing a single line of code, identifying bottlenecks, redundant steps, and the specific pain points their staff dealt with daily. The portal was built iteratively, with feedback loops at each stage to make sure the system matched how the team actually works, not just how it looked on paper.
