UE4 mouse project, 2021. The project was created as a hands-on approach to learning Unreal Engine 4 and Blender. It features 73+ hand modelled 3D assets and two Quixel foliage models (Purple Heart plants and grass blades).
Some workflows utilized using these software packages include modeling, grooming, lighting, material blending, and real-time rendering. The major issues faced were a drop in performance once I imported strands from Blender into UE4. I used hair cards (for the first time) in conjunction with strands (reduced in volume) to counter the problem, however, there is still some lag.
