Context
This series was created for the first of five lectures I illustrated within a university course on urban experience. The lecture introduced foundational ideas about how people perceive the city, how certain elements become landmarks, and how hierarchy, visibility and balance influence spatial understanding.
My role
I developed the visual concept and created the illustrations for the lecture, turning abstract urban principles into simple, expressive diagrams. Using minimal linework, small human figures and highlighted geometric forms, I translated complex spatial ideas into clear visual metaphors that could support teaching and discussion.
Outcome
The final illustrations helped give the lecture a coherent and memorable visual identity. They made key concepts easier to grasp, supported the educational narrative, and created an engaging set of visuals that clarified how people read, orient themselves in and emotionally interpret urban space.
