This was such a fun challenge. I chose this nail salon business because she is my favourite nail tech.
Booking + WhatsApp automation with @Base44 for a Lusaka-based nail salon.
Nail Lab ZM.
Before:
→ Booking ran through Instagram DMs
→ Prices buried in screenshots on the bio
→ Policies shared as separate screenshots
→ No booking record, no automation
🔗 Instagram: @nail_lab_zm
After:
→ Clean, mobile-responsive design built around the nail salon's branding
→ Full services menu with pricing
→ Reservations automation (WhatsApp confirmations)
→ AI concierge chat for instant service/pricing questions

Step-by-step process:
Reviewed the salon's existing Instagram presence and booking flow to map out the gaps.
Drafted a detailed prompt for Base44 covering services, pricing, and the WhatsApp automation requirement.
Base44 generated a fully functional booking flow in one go, including service selection, calendar availability, and WhatsApp confirmation.
Refined the design and copy to match the salon's brand and validated the full flow with the client in real time.
