I’m sharing this unpublished image for the first time for #returntonature.
This work is connected to ideas of roots, origin, and family memory. It reflects on the relationship between identity and the stories we inherit, and on how our connection to where we come from continues to shape us over time.
For this piece, I developed the concept, art direction, shooting, and editing.

Natural beauty retouching focused on preserving the model’s real skin texture, freckles, and features while creating a clean and polished final image. The assignment was to keep the result fresh and believable, so the work centered on subtle skin refinement, light balancing, and gentle color adjustments without losing the softness and authenticity of the portrait.

High-end beauty retouching focused on enhancing skin texture, color balance, and overall image harmony while maintaining a natural, realistic finish. The work includes detailed skin refinement, makeup enhancement, and subtle adjustments to light and tone to achieve a polished, editorial-quality result.
For this image, I focused on a mix of retouching and compositing to bring everything together in a natural and polished way. I worked on light, color, and textures to make the scene feel cohesive, while keeping the original mood and character.
A lot of attention went into the small details (especially the connection between the man and the rooster) so the final result feels balanced, real, and visually strong.
