The concept behind Brainrot is quite simple: if you use your phone too much, your brain rots. (Just like in real life :).
We designed 6 separated states for the brain rotting, paired with deteriorating environment.

Illustrations for Von Helden und Gestalten (and a secret third party 👀) featuring a brand based around mythical creatures and tactile, waxy textures.
A few cute doodles for a character I can't share just yet...!
I always like looking at my early sketches, there's a lot of expression and emotion in the pencil lines. In this case I also really like the early character concepts even though the final version evolved quite a bit from what you see here.
