I designed and developed an e-commerce website end to end for a UK flooring retailer, covering brand presentation, information architecture, desktop/mobile UX and the underlying WooCommerce implementation. The work included responsive website design, category and product journeys, custom product functionality, an area/pack ordering calculator, bulk-pricing logic, product merchandising and integrations with the wider business systems. I also carried out custom WordPress/WooCommerce development where off-the-shelf functionality did not meet the commercial requirements. This project demonstrates the combination I bring to e-commerce work: understanding the customer journey and commercial objective while also being able to implement the technical solution myself. Tools: WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, SQL, UX and e-commerce strategy.

I redesigned and automated an e-commerce order-management process spanning purchasing, supplier communication, CRM activity, WooCommerce updates and customer notifications. When an order is received, supplier purchase orders are generated and sent automatically while profitability data is submitted for reporting. Once a delivery date is confirmed, the CRM workflow captures the information, updates WooCommerce and triggers the appropriate customer communication. The objective was to remove repetitive administration, reduce opportunities for inconsistent data and make the order journey easier to manage for staff, suppliers and customers. Tools: Power Automate, APIs, CRM, WooCommerce, workflow automation and business-process design.

I designed and built a Power Apps quoting tool that allows sales users to search a product catalogue, build a customer basket and simulate pricing while seeing the effect on profitability in real time. The application calculates quantities, selling prices, line totals, shipping charges, line-level profit and total order profit, giving users commercial flexibility without losing visibility of margin. The project combined UX design, pricing logic and commercial modelling with practical sales-process requirements. Tools: Microsoft Power Apps, Power Platform, commercial modelling, pricing strategy, UX and e-commerce product data.

I designed and built a Power BI management reporting solution to bring together e-commerce sales, product costs, advertising spend, recurring costs and manual adjustments into a single commercial model. Using Power Query, ETL, data modelling and DAX, I created dashboards showing gross profit, net profit and true profitability across periods, channels and business units. The aim was to move management reporting beyond revenue and ROAS and provide a clearer view of what the business was actually earning after the costs required to generate those sales. Tools: Power BI, Power Query, DAX, ETL, APIs, data modelling, e-commerce data.
