I redesigned and automated an e-commerce order-management process spanning purchasing, supplier communication, CRM activity, WooCommerce updates and customer notifications.
When an order is received, supplier purchase orders are generated and sent automatically while profitability data is submitted for reporting. Once a delivery date is confirmed, the CRM workflow captures the information, updates WooCommerce and triggers the appropriate customer communication.
The objective was to remove repetitive administration, reduce opportunities for inconsistent data and make the order journey easier to manage for staff, suppliers and customers.
