FiveFrames: Event Photo App UI/UX (Guest + Host Flows)
FiveFrames is a mobile-first event photo app. Guests scan a QR code, with no account or app install, and get exactly five photos to capture. The host gets one private, shared gallery.
I designed the full end-to-end journey in 2 days: 5 guest screens (join, “Your Five” capture home, preview, completion, gallery) and the host dashboard for QR sharing, capture controls, and gallery management, all backed by a reusable design system.
The challenge was keeping two complete journeys simple enough for someone mid-party. I made the five-photo limit feel like a fun, deliberate choice instead of a restriction.
Designed using Claude + Wonder.design (http://Wonder.design), with me directing and reviewing every screen. The Tactical Return: Responsive Framer Website Overhaul
A leadership development program for veterans and executives had a Framer site that looked great on desktop but fell apart on phones and tablets. Everything was built with absolute positioning, so elements overlapped on iPhone and Android.
I rebuilt the layout using Framer stacks and flex containers without touching the client’s content, upscaled his logo and mountain banner to crisp 2K, and cleaned up the spacing and typography across all 5 pages.
Result: a premium, minimalist, fully responsive site that was launch-ready after 1 day of work. A BAFTA-winning film and TV editor needed his stalled portfolio site finished after the original designer left it incomplete. For someone whose reputation depends on presentation, an unfinished site wasn’t an option.
The inherited layout was so convoluted that rebuilding was faster than repairing it, so I rebuilt it from scratch in Framer as a clean, responsive, maintainable foundation with a dark, cinematic, image-led look.
The centerpiece is a custom Vimeo reel experience: fast-loading clips, hover-to-play previews, category filtering, and a mobile-friendly seek bar, tested against real browser quirks like Safari. I also structured the content into linked Movies, built out a Credits page covering 36 productions, and wrote a plain-language editing guide so he can update the site himself.
Result: an abandoned build became a launched, fully responsive site that puts his editing work front and center.
I used Claude connected to Framer through MCP for code and canvas edits, reviewing every change myself. Found this insane Framer component on IG and had to test it out. ⚡
