A BAFTA-winning film and TV editor needed his stalled portfolio site finished after the original designer left it incomplete. For someone whose reputation depends on presentation, an unfinished site wasn’t an option.

The inherited layout was so convoluted that rebuilding was faster than repairing it, so I rebuilt it from scratch in Framer as a clean, responsive, maintainable foundation with a dark, cinematic, image-led look.

The centerpiece is a custom Vimeo reel experience: fast-loading clips, hover-to-play previews, category filtering, and a mobile-friendly seek bar, tested against real browser quirks like Safari. I also structured the content into linked Movies, built out a Credits page covering 36 productions, and wrote a plain-language editing guide so he can update the site himself.

Result: an abandoned build became a launched, fully responsive site that puts his editing work front and center.

I used Claude connected to Framer through MCP for code and canvas edits, reviewing every change myself.
