I’m excited to share the beginnings of Roomie, a new app I'm designing from the ground up to help users find their perfect roommate through a highly curated matching system.
Thanks to extensive UX research and leveraging Mobbin, I analyzed the most engaging user flows out there. I drew heavy inspiration from the design patterns of top dating apps like Bumble and Tinder, adapting their intuitive, friction-free matching mechanics to the shared housing space.
By asking the right psychological and behavioral questions, Roomie ensures that profiles go beyond surface-level details. It focuses on personality traits, lifestyle, and daily habits to guarantee that users find a flatmate who truly aligns with their way of living.
