Live out loud! 🏳️‍🌈 Under a blue moon as we ushered in Pride month, Merryl and Grace took a beautiful and unconventional turn: they celebrated themselves by recording a validation episode! Who knew finding one’s small wins, big victories, and jowable traits could be so difficult? Shouldn’t celebrating oneself be easier than finding one’s faults? As we are well aware, June is Pride month, which makes this a long overdue episode. But June got swirly, whirly and twisty for the hosts in the most physical, emotional and spiritual of ways. Hence, the forced mini-break and the late release of this very special Pride episode. Happy Pride! This was made from scratch in Illustrator and After Effects, and lots of love. My mom thinks I can do anything. I told her there should be an app for seniors. She told me I should make one. I told her, “I can’t do that!” And she said, “Yes, you can!” I mean I guess I could try Figma Make... Not sure I beat the Config Makeathon deadline (I couldn't find my post) but I designed an app for seniors using Figma Make! I also used FigJam (FUN!) for the User Persona and Storyboards (practicing my screenwriting skills at the same time). I know it still needs a lot of fixes but going through the research, design and development phases in (personal) record time is a win in my book.
