You? Me? Them? When everyone thinks someone else owns a task, nobody does.

The fix is a RACI chart:

R: does the work

A: owns the result

C: gives advice

I: is kept informed

One rule matters most: one task = ONE owner.

No owner? No plan.

This is a risk heat map. The higher and further right, the bigger the risk.

The red one here scores 20 out of 25, and it has a name next to it: Eng lead.

Every risk needs 3 things:

1. A score, so you fix the big ones first

2. An owner: one name, not "the team"

3. A response you start now, not when it happens

3 answers. 3 seconds.

A good dashboard tells you instantly:

✅ Done? How much is finished vs. left

⚠️ Overloaded? Who has too much on their plate

🔴 Late? What's overdue, and who owns it

If you need a meeting to explain your dashboard, it's decoration.
