I've successfully finished steps 2&3 of the event creation function.
Here's what's now in place:
For Step2 of event...
All form state for Step 1 now lives in CreateEventModal and persists across step changes. The title, event type, selected date, and selected time will all be preserved when navigating forward through the flow and back again.
