Have you happened to read Part 1 of this series yet? If not, it’s right here: https://www.weteachfashion.com/blog/%2Fwhat-makes-a-fashion-course-worth-paying-for In Part 1, we talked about the real pinch point fashion experts are feeling right now, not burnout, not lack of talent, but the daily pressure of turning deep expertise into something stable and future-proof. Today, I ask a more challenging question: Why do so many fashion courses, even those built by experienced professionals, fail to land? In Part 3 of this series, I will walk through the most common traps I see and, more importantly, how to avoid them so your course actually works for you. If you’ve ever wondered whether your course could feel clearer, calmer, and more useful without you having to perform, hustle, or do more than you already do well.

This series started with a simple observation: fashion experts aren’t short on talent; they’re feeling the pressure of relying on time-based work in a rapidly changing world. In Part 1, we explored that pressure. In Part 2, we looked at what actually makes a fashion course worth paying for: clear outcomes, thoughtful structure, and learning that fits real life. Which leads to the following question: If we know what good looks like… why do so many fashion courses still fail? That’s what Part 3 covers, not to criticise, but to highlight the common traps and how experienced professionals can avoid them. If you’ve ever thought, “I could create something better, I just don’t want to get it wrong,” this one’s for you.

A client approached me with a vision: to launch a collectible card business — selling exclusive cards inspired by pop culture and fandoms like Pokémon cards and Pop Vinyl figures. Their brand identity centers around a fox mascot — symbolizing agility, curiosity, and adventure. In this 2D animated trailer, I brought that spirit to life: we follow the fox running through a lush forest, leaping across a calm lake, and finally landing to form the “Seven Trail Cards” logo. This short animation serves as a brand reveal and marketing piece, designed to capture attention, convey personality, and connect the audience with the brand’s identity.
