Making a product listing flow buttery smooth 🧈 listing a product is a standard churn point for marketplace platforms because they consist of long forms with different not so clear restrictions. This turns what is supposed to feel like a win moment for the user into confusion. Using progressive disclosure, clear design and copy, user cognitive load goes down and their commitment goes up! This design improves a seller's activation, reduces drop-off during listing, accelerates time-to-first-sale, which compounds GMV, increases revenue and unlocks future monetization.

With the rise of Gen AI in 2023, people talked about generative UI for apps. but I was thinking about Generative UX. Harnessing AI capabilities to help users tailor their individual experiences. At the the time I designed this feature, AI Agents wasn't even a public word. However, this AI-powered text-field served as an entry to making effects in settings/backend and even editing your profile on the app all triggered by natural language. This inputs affects your in-app experiences hence providing an ever adapting and personalized UX. which you can call Generative UX This action gives users a sense of ownership over their apps, also allowing the business to get more data points that can be used to optimize offerings. #productdesign #softwareengineering #generativeAI
