I am developing an original adult fantasy novel set in a world trapped in an artificial, generations-long winter. Ancient volcanic infrastructure once distributed heat across the land, but a powerful ruler seized the volcanic stronghold and redirected its warmth toward elite settlements. Now survival itself, heat, food, shelter, and movement, is controlled by those in power. The story follows Solene, a practical and risk-averse young woman forced to leave the safety of her settlement after her brother is selected in a deadly emergency lottery. Carrying journals connected to the original heat network, she joins a dangerous expedition to uncover the truth about the winter and restore the stolen warmth. For this project, I am developing the novel’s plot, characters, mythology, geography, political systems, survival rules, and extreme-cold environments. My work includes long-form fiction, narrative structure, character development, immersive worldbuilding, scene planning, and research into Arctic survival, geothermal systems, cold-weather settlements, and human behavior under scarcity. At its core, the story explores concentrated power, the hoarding of survival resources, learned helplessness, grief, hope, vulnerability, and the conflict between safety and freedom.

Why Does Cornell Keep Coming Up? | Criminal Justice/True Crime Article/Commentary A published Substack article examining institutional accountability, public trust, and the questions that emerge when an institution appears across separate news stories. The piece combines case commentary, research, and personal analysis while distinguishing documented information, allegations, and unverified connections. My role: Author. This sample demonstrates my approach to complex subjects: accessible explanations, an engaging narrative voice, source attribution, and transparency about uncertainty.

Building the strategy for a mission that matters. For the 2026 Philadelphia Food Summit, I developed the campaign architecture and narrative strategy connecting the Summit's mission with the people, perspectives, and stories behind its work. My work included shaping the broader campaign narrative, developing thought-leadership content, and creating the narrative concept for a documentary short. I also ghostwrote four executive op-eds in distinct voices, translating individual leadership perspectives into compelling public-facing arguments. The goal was to give the Summit a cohesive story across formats, from executive commentary to documentary storytelling, while preserving the distinct perspectives of the people involved. My role: Content strategy, campaign architecture, narrative development, executive ghostwriting, and documentary concept development.

Turning a dining concept into an unforgettable brand. I developed three activation concepts for Picnic, a dining establishment serving a unique blend of American and Lebanese fare, on behalf of their parent company, Kassis & Co. I explored ways to generate revenue while building a more distinctive brand, stronger community connections, and lasting value. The concepts included a premium omakase experience, a founder-focused gifting initiative, and Picnic Table: a communal dining experience positioned as Philadelphia's Village Table. For Picnic Table, I developed the brand positioning, experience concept, and narrative connecting premium seasonal food, shared experiences, and a rotating nonprofit mission. The idea was to give people more than a meal to attend. It gave them a reason to gather. My role: Concept development, brand positioning, narrative strategy, and creative copywriting.

Inspiration rarely comes at a convenient time, or place. In my case, inspiration has taken up a HUGE space in my closet. So many ideas. Movies, TV shows, songs, business ideas. A treasure trove of gold packed away between abandoned pages. I'm putting together something big for some bigwigs in the film world. Decided to rummage through my ideas over the years for some new inspiration. I'm not sure what I wanted to do with this (besides show off how brilliant younger me was to fill these notebooks up), but I think a good thing to takeaway is this: Keep going. You never know what idea of yours is going to take off. You also don't know which of your ideas sitting in that pile you ignored for so long is going to be the one to transform your life. Keep pushing and plugging. You're only one idea away.

I ghostwrote this published commentary for Ericka Gaines in The Philadelphia Citizen. The piece connects food insecurity and community violence, making a case for understanding how these challenges intersect. My work involved shaping the argument and translating the author's perspective into a compelling public-facing piece. I also pitched this piece and secured placement with The Citizen Services: Executive ghostwriting & Thought Leadership.
