Cover image for Too Big to Miss —
Too Big to Miss — #1000WaysToCCW LA was too far for MIA, so her tiny tea creature OOLONG starts brewing. Tea one gives her a giant head, tea two a giant neck, and the final blend sends her jumping off the sofa and landing as a giant in her own street. OOLONG points the way, and she walks to CapCut World LA in a few huge steps. HOW I MADE IT (1) Look and pacing: planned pacing and transformation style, then locked a look: natural 35–50 mm lens, chaotic handheld camera, amber and teal interior light, and one continuous dusk from her apartment to LA. (2) References: generated character sheets for MIA and OOLONG, her apartment, two body-change states (big head, long neck), giant MIA in her street, CapCut World LA from above, and the hero mug. (3) Generation: Seedance 2.5 in CapCut Video Studio with one 30-second timecoded multi-shot prompt, @image references, dialogue in { } and a sound effect for every action in < >. (4) No morphing: every body change happens inside a dust burst and is revealed already finished. The growth to giant happens on a cut: she jumps off the sofa inside and lands as a giant outside. (5) Iteration: three full takes. Take 1 had fisheye framing and a hills ending that lost scale; take 2 fixed angles, scale and continuity but was too static; take 3 brought back the handheld energy and kept OOLONG moving in every shot. (6) Edit: final assembly and export in the CapCut editor (33 s).
