🏆 Whoop — we wn an award! A big thank you to the Indigo Design Award (https://www.linkedin.com/company/indigo-award/) for recognising Whirl with a branding award. We loved working on this one. A lovely reminder that great, award-winning work doesn’t need a big budget — just direct connection with the founder, trust in the process, and permission to push things forward. — So, what’s Whirl? The electronics marketplace that feels good and does good. Whirl buys your old devices and puts them to better use: tackling tech poverty in the UK, supporting environmental causes through 1% for the Planet, donating to schools, and recycling responsibly to reduce e-waste. Every device sold to Whirl takes us one step closer to a better tomorrow. Give it a Whirl

Cover image for Branding a human proprietary signature
Branding a human proprietary signature through action and time. Fiona Caplan-Dean (https://www.linkedin.com/in/fiona-caplan-dean-a433b872/) is a national-level systems thinker and executor. Her true value lives in the complex, messy act of connecting Policy → Delivery → Frontline reality. This systemic synthesis is uniquely human. The core challenge was translating that level of dynamic system thinking into identity without relying on clichés locked into static representation. We designed the brand not to look like an outcome, but to represent the flow of decision-making itself. The visual language is built around directional evolution and interconnectedness—a reflection of how human emotional and intellectual intelligence solves complex problems. If your brand's genius lies in connecting disparate, high-level, high-human-stakes concepts, let’s talk about crafting an identity that captures its unique systemic spirit.
