A full UI concept for FaithWave, a faith-based app designed to help users explore and deepen their Christian faith through meaningful learning, prayer, and customizable worship experiences. I designed three key screens—Home, Prayer & Worship, and a Customizable Item Page—that together demonstrate the app's core user journey. The Home screen features four main content sections (Podcasts, Prayer & Worship, Wisdom & History, Scripture) with a clean, intuitive bottom navigation. The Prayer & Worship page organizes a rich library of prayers by theme, era, courses, and meditations, making spiritual content easily discoverable. The Customizable Item page allows users to personalize their prayer experience by selecting narrator voices, background sounds, and volume controls—creating a deeply personal and immersive devotional experience. The design uses a calming blue gradient inspired by the brand's logo (cyan to deep blue), with thoughtful typography and ample whitespace to create a serene, focused atmosphere for prayer and reflection.

A LinkedIn carousel post designed for handdii, a company expanding across 11 U.S. states. The goal was to visually communicate their growth and service areas while maintaining their brand identity—using their signature green (#00FF99), supporting colors, and a clean, modern layout. I incorporated the 2-letter state abbreviations (CA, TX, OH, GA, etc.) into the design, creating a map-like visual that immediately conveys the company's reach. The carousel structure allowed me to present the key message—operating in 11 states with more expansion coming—across multiple slides, keeping each one clean, scannable, and on-brand. The design uses bold typography, consistent spacing, and a professional tone suitable for LinkedIn's audience, without relying on the logo since the post was published from the company page.

I designed a modern, clean, and uplifting website for The Creek Pub and Grill, a restaurant situated within a prestigious golf club community. The primary challenge was to transform their existing online presence into a vibrant, standalone digital storefront that captures the warmth and energy of a premium pub experience—rather than feeling like an overlooked amenity page attached to the golf club. To achieve the client's specific request for a 'clean and happy' aesthetic, I built the layout around a bright, airy framework with generous white space, allowing the content to breathe. I balanced warm, earthy tones with vibrant accent colors (such as fresh greens and sunny yellows) to evoke positivity and stimulate appetite appeal. While the client allowed the use of stock imagery, I carefully selected high-quality photos that showcase the restaurant's inviting ambiance, signature dishes, and craft beverages to establish an immediate emotional connection with hungry visitors. The user experience was prioritized throughout the design. I ensured that the menu, operating hours, and contact/reservation details are prominently positioned above the fold, minimizing friction for potential guests. The visual hierarchy was carefully structured to guide the eye smoothly from a welcoming hero banner down to the restaurant's key offerings, encouraging casual visitors to convert into confirmed diners. The final design successfully bridges the gap between a casual, energetic pub atmosphere and the refined expectations of a country club clientele. It positions The Creek Pub and Grill as a must-visit dining destination, packaged in a scannable, high-converting, and genuinely 'happy' visual layout.

E-commerce website development & SEO We successfully developed a fully functional e-commerce website from scratch, starting with a clean and modern UI/UX design tailored to the client’s brand identity. The project included custom product pages, a seamless shopping cart, and a secure checkout system integrated with multiple payment gateways. We ensured the website was responsive across all devices, optimized for fast loading speed, and built with scalability in mind to support future growth. Alongside development, we implemented a complete SEO strategy covering on-page optimization, keyword research, metadata, structured content, and technical SEO enhancements. This helped the website achieve higher visibility in search engines, attract targeted traffic, and improve conversions.

The Ultrasound Source I developed and managed the digital platform for The Ultrasound Source, a premier provider of new and refurbished ultrasound systems. The primary objective was to build a professional, trust-driven interface that caters specifically to hospitals, private clinics, and healthcare practitioners. The website features a complex product catalog that organizes equipment by brand and application, allowing users to easily filter between portable and console units from major manufacturers like GE, Philips, and Mindray.

"The animations look amazing, but why is the page lagging on my phone?" The Problem: We’ve all seen modern websites loaded with high-end scroll effects, smooth micro-interactions, and floating cards. On a powerful developer desktop, it looks stunning. But hand it over to a user on a mid-range mobile device or a battery-saving laptop, and the frame rate tanks. The issue is that heavy animations are often tied directly to the browser’s main rendering thread. When your visual effects start competing with data fetching and DOM updates, the entire user experience grinds to a halt. The Solution: Smooth animations shouldn't cost you user performance. If you want high-end motion that stays butter-smooth across all devices, here is the 3-step technical approach to use: Animate Only the "Safe" CSS Properties: Never animate properties that trigger a layout redraw (like width, height, top, or margin). Stick strictly to transform (for moving/scaling) and opacity. These are handled directly by the GPU, bypassing the heavy CPU rendering pipeline. Isolate with GSAP Contexts: If you are building dynamic user interfaces in React or Next.js, use a dedicated animation library like GSAP paired with useGSAP() or explicit context cleanup. Unmounted components with leftover scroll triggers will quietly eat up device memory in the background. Respect prefers-reduced-motion: Always add a media query check for reduced motion. If a user has motion sensitivity or low-power mode enabled on their operating system, serve them clean, static transitions instead of complex scroll triggers. It’s better for accessibility and saves battery life. Visual polish should enhance the user experience, not break it. What’s your go-to strategy for balancing heavy UI animations with real-world website performance? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇

Most travel websites help you search. But what if they helped you decide? I’ve been exploring how AI can make travel planning feel less like research and more like a conversation. Instead of opening 20 tabs for: → Flights → Hotels → Places to visit → Restaurants → Activities → Budget Imagine simply saying: “I have 5 days, a $1,500 budget, and I want a relaxing trip with some adventure.” The website understands the context. Then it builds the experience around you. That’s where I see the real opportunity with AI travel products. Not just adding a chatbot to a website. But using AI to understand intent, connect information, and reduce decision fatigue. Good travel technology helps you find options. Great travel technology helps you choose the right ones. The future of travel websites won’t just be about better search. It will be about better decisions.

I’ve learned that a wellbeing app isn’t really about features. It’s about understanding people. A dashboard can show progress. A reminder can create a habit. AI can provide personalized insights. But none of that matters if the user doesn’t feel understood. When building a wellbeing mobile app, I think about three things first: → What does the user actually struggle with? → What will make them come back consistently? → How can technology support them without overwhelming them? The best wellbeing products don’t try to control the user. They quietly help the user understand themselves better. Good technology tracks behavior. Great technology creates better experiences around it. That’s the difference between building an app and building something people actually use.

BELGR, Brand Identity for a Modern Property Developer! BELGR is a modern property brand built around a simple idea: Homes built with love. The goal was to create a premium identity that balances contemporary design with a genuine sense of community, trust, and belonging. The Challenge BELGR needed a distinctive identity that would stand out in a competitive property market while feeling warm, approachable, and premium. The brand had to appeal to homebuyers by communicating quality, connection, and long-term value instead of focusing solely on construction. The Solution We developed a complete brand identity centered around a custom symbol created from four abstract B letterforms. Together, they represent connection and community, while the star-shaped negative space at the center symbolizes quality, excellence, and premium living. The visual system combines clean typography, refined colors, and thoughtful applications to create a brand that feels modern, memorable, and built to grow. My Role I led the project from strategy to final delivery, creating a cohesive visual identity that reflects BELGR's values while ensuring consistency across both print and digital applications. Brand Highlights → Custom logo inspired by four interconnected B letterforms → Symbol representing community, connection, and premium living → Modern and timeless visual identity → Consistent branding across stationery, signage, social media, and marketing materials → Built to support long-term brand recognition Outcome BELGR now has a distinctive and scalable brand identity that reflects its vision of creating homes people are proud to live in. Every touchpoint works together to present a premium, trustworthy, and memorable property brand. Summex Roofing, Brand Identity, Website & Digital Experience! Summex Roofing is a Texas-based roofing company built on quality, trust, and craftsmanship. I partnered with the team to create a complete brand experience, from strategy and visual identity to UI/UX design and WordPress development, ensuring every customer touchpoint feels consistent and professional. Summex needed more than a new logo. They wanted a brand that would inspire confidence, stand out in a competitive roofing market, and provide a seamless experience both online and offline. The challenge was to create a consistent identity that reflected the company's values across every customer touchpoint. Starting with brand strategy, I developed a complete visual identity that communicates trust, durability, and professionalism. I then translated that identity into a clean, user-focused website, designing the interface and developing it in WordPress to ensure a consistent experience from first impression to customer inquiry. I led the project from concept to launch, creating a cohesive brand system and transforming it into a fully functional WordPress website. This ensured that every interaction with the brand, whether online or offline, reflected the same level of quality and professionalism. The final outcome is a cohesive brand ecosystem that positions Summex Roofing as a modern, trustworthy roofing company. From the logo and printed materials to the website and digital experience, every element works together to build credibility and create a strong first impression.
