This is a vlog in a series edited for the CEO of Luxega, a Danish lighting company. It's goal is to explain how the company does manufacturing in China, offering an in-depth look into the production process and discussing some common misconceptions about manufacturing in the country. The project required sorting through footage, piecing together a compelling and informative timeline, and adding text, music and color grading to enhance the viewing experience.

This is a short-form documentary I edited for RootsTech focused on historical preservation, archives, and Filipino family history. This piece centered on transforming interview footage into a concise and emotionally engaging narrative through careful story structuring, pacing, and b-roll integration. The editing approach focused on highlighting the emotional and cultural importance of preserving historical records while maintaining a clean and cinematic documentary flow. Note: Final color grading was completed by another editor.

Before & After: Raw Footage → Retention-Optimized Edit Started with raw talking-head footage and a script. From there: sourced supporting b-roll for the key moments in the script, layered in sound design and SFX, added animated captions, and paced each scene to hold attention start to finish. Swipe through to see the raw clip next to the final edit — and the Premiere Pro timeline behind it. Open to projects like this — DM if you need a short-form video edited.

RAW FOOTAGE vs. FINAL EDIT 🎬 For this editing exercise, I took Andrew Garfield’s powerful 7-minute interview about grief from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and repurposed it into an engaging, emotionally driven reel under one minute. I carefully selected the strongest moments, created an attention-grabbing opening, tightened the pacing, and added captions, music, sound design, and relevant B-roll to support the message and help viewers connect with it on a deeper level. This before-and-after comparison shows how thoughtful editing can transform a long-form interview into concise, compelling short-form content. Check it out and let me know what you think! If you’re a creator, brand, or business looking for a video editor who can turn raw footage or long-form content into engaging reels, I’d love to work with you. Feel free to send me a message and let's work together. Source footage belongs to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. This is an independent editing exercise created for portfolio purposes.

A look back at one of the projects I edited in 2013: “Fashion Movies,” a two-part Fashion|One TV segment featuring its Top 10 Most Fashionable Movies of the year. I was provided with the final script and voice-over, and from there, I built the entire visual story. I researched, gathered, and organized all the supporting assets—including movie trailers, interviews, B-roll, red-carpet footage, and other relevant media. I also handled the music selection, master editing, pacing, sound design, sound effects, color correction, color grading, and final delivery. Every visual and editorial decision was carefully made to complement the voice-over and turn the script into an engaging, cohesive story. The completed segment runs for almost 20 minutes and is divided into two parts: • Part 1: Movies ranked from Top 10 to 6 • Part 2: Movies ranked from Top 5 to 1 This project gave me full creative discretion over the master cut, allowing me to shape the storytelling, rhythm, and overall viewing experience based on the provided script and narration. Here’s how it turned out for Part 2. Check it out and let me know what you think! If you need a creative and experienced video editor for your next project, send me a DM. Let’s bring your story to life!

Player One: Vantage What if gaming nostalgia wasn’t something you remembered, but somewhere you could wake up inside? Player One: Vantage is a 30-second first-person, one-take AI film inspired by the games we grew up with and the way they stay with us. It turns that nostalgia into a rush of action, adrenaline, and discovery, putting you inside the memory instead of simply looking back at it. Created from a single prompt in CapCut Video Studio using Seedance 2.5. Prompt and generation workflow in the comments below.

JRP Rice & Rental: Website and Booking System https://jrprental.shop/ I created this project for the Base44 Give It a Glow Challenge. I designed and built a website and booking system for JRP Rice & Rental, replacing the manual process they previously managed through Facebook messages. I first built the platform in Base44, then migrated it to a self-hosted setup to give the business more control over the system. The website handles bookings, availability, inventory, delivery fee estimates, quotations, agreements, and delivery schedules. It also includes editable pricing, Facebook gallery syncing, and WhatsApp briefings and reminders. Along with the website, I created a new logo and Facebook cover. The finished platform is mobile-friendly, easy for customers to use, and helps the owners spend less time managing repetitive tasks.
