Barqly: Multi-App Food Delivery Platform Built a production-ready food delivery platform with separate apps for customers, vendors, and riders, plus an admin dashboard, customer web app, marketing website, and backend system. The platform handles ordering, payments, wallet/coins, live rider tracking, vendor order management, dispatch, refunds, analytics, and admin operations. What I Built: I developed the full Barqly ecosystem end to end: - Customer mobile app for browsing restaurants, checkout, payments, wallet, order tracking, and support. - Vendor mobile app for receiving orders, managing preparation, and store operations. - Rider mobile app for deliveries, live location, job handling, earnings, and proof uploads. - Admin web dashboard for orders, users, vendors, riders, payments, fraud/CRM, dispatch, batching, and live control tower. - Customer web app for ordering from browser. - Public website/landing page for the brand. - Backend API with authentication, payments, wallet, Barqly Coins, dispatch, notifications, refunds, payouts, analytics, and deployment setup. This architecture represents an end-to-end Azure cloud platform that I designed and automated using Terraform and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. The goal was to provision a secure, scalable, and reusable infrastructure with minimal manual intervention. What I built Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) (https://github.com/Kiran2881991/Nexafold-Terraform-infra-deploy) Developed reusable Terraform modules for Azure resources. Used remote state management and environment-specific variables. Automated provisioning of networking, security, compute, and application resources. Networking & Security Designed a Virtual Network with dedicated subnets. Configured Network Security Groups (NSGs) with least-privilege rules. Implemented Private Endpoints to eliminate public exposure of backend services. Integrated Azure Application Gateway (WAF) for secure traffic management, SSL termination, health probes, and Layer-7 routing. Application Hosting Deployed containerized applications to Azure App Service. Connected App Service with Azure Container Registry (ACR) for secure container image deployment. Enabled autoscaling and high availability. Database Layer Provisioned Azure Database for MySQL (Flexible Server) in a private network. Configured secure private connectivity between the application and database. Enabled backup, encryption, and production-ready networking. CI/CD with Azure DevOps Built YAML-based multi-stage pipelines. Automated Terraform validation, plan, and apply. Parameterized deployments for multiple environments (Dev, UAT, Production). Managed secrets securely using Azure Key Vault and variable groups. Implemented approval gates for production deployments. Monitoring & Operations Configured diagnostic settings and monitoring. Enabled centralized logging and alerting. Designed the infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and easier operational support.
