PyrexiaMed: AI-Powered Exam Prep for NEET-PG & INI-CET

The problem
Medical students preparing for NEET-PG, INI-CET and university exams mostly practise from static question dumps. The PyrexiaMed team wanted preparation that feels active and competitive, with questions students can trust.
What I built
A multi-stage AI pipeline that writes practice questions (conceptual, clinical and analytical variants of past-year questions) and checks them for medical accuracy and quality before students see them
Face-Off: one-on-one case battles where two students answer timed clinical questions head to head, live
A question bank organised by subject, topic and exam, with timed practice quizzes and answer review
Revision flashcards with spaced repetition
Live quiz competitions with leaderboards, in active development
An admin panel to manage questions, quizzes, users and banners
Tech stack
Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL (Supabase), Drizzle ORM, Redis and Socket.io for the live duels, Razorpay for paid quiz entry, Docker.
My role
Developer on the platform, from the AI pipeline and backend to the mobile-first student app and the admin panel. Work started in October 2025 and is ongoing.
