Every department at Lighthouse Cabinetry was doing their job well. The problem was the gap between them. Design would finish their part and move on. Cutting would find out through a phone call or a shared file. If specs had changed since the last Excel version, there was no clean way to know. With 30+ orders running simultaneously, that gap added up fast. I designed a linear task management system that follows the same flow the team already worked in — Design → Cutting → Assembly → Finishing → Installation. When one department completes their stage, it moves to the next automatically. The receiving team sees current specs immediately. No calls. No file hunting. No second-guessing whether they're looking at the latest version. This was an MVP — the budget and timeline didn't allow for something more sophisticated. But it replaced something that was genuinely broken for them. Result: 94% on-time delivery rate. 85% reduction in file setup and intake time. Lighthouse Cabinetry ran their entire production schedule on Excel. It worked — until someone missed a step and the formulas broke. With 30+ concurrent orders, production managers were spending 30+ minutes manually verifying timelines and making coordination calls every day. I designed an automated production scheduler to replace it. Each order shows a live view — unique ID, current department, days to completion, finishing date. When a manager drags a project up or down in the queue, the system recalculates all affected timelines instantly. No formulas to maintain. No steps to miss. No calls to make. The drag-and-drop interaction was a deliberate choice — the team already knew how to reorder priorities in Excel, so it had to feel familiar, just more reliable. Result: 94% on-time delivery rate. Production managers now trust what they see on screen. For Lighthouse Cabinetry, a consultation used to mean 20+ minutes of manual Excel formatting before a single cabinet was even discussed. Different rooms meant different files, different fields, and a massive amount of friction. The sales team was acting as data entry clerks instead of consultants. The solution wasn't just a "new form"—it was a three-layer configurable architecture designed to move at the speed of a conversation: Smart Templates: Pre-load the exact fields needed for standard projects (Kitchen vs. Bedroom) in seconds. Dynamic Feature Sets: Toggle hardware, lighting, or specialized cabinetry on the fly without switching files. Custom Field Injection: Capture unique, "one-off" job details without breaking the system. The Result: Sales reps now walk into consultations focused entirely on the customer's vision, not the spreadsheet's rows. I led the full rebrand of Canlan Ice Sports, building a bold, modern identity to match the energy and scale of one of North America’s largest multi-sport recreation networks. I designed everything from the primary logo and sub-brand system to the color palette, typography, iconography, and a unified visual language across youth programs, leagues, facilities, and national campaigns. I also created a comprehensive brand guidebook covering digital and print systems, social templates, signage, merch, and motion direction to keep everything consistent and scalable across touchpoints :)

First post here :) My name is Dalia Elcharbini, a Toronto based multidisciplinary designer and visual artist. You can see some of my design work here: https://rebelledesign.com/ and art: https://daliaelcharbini.com/ Here's a little recap of a project i did for SKYY Vodka. I led the creative concept and design for a year-long animated content system for SKYY Vodka’s social channels. We leaned into playful, slightly surreal storytelling (very on-brand for me) while staying rooted in SKYY’s bold visual language and nodding to its San Francisco heritage. The result was a series of motion-first concepts built for social—mixing strong brand recognition with imaginative worlds and unexpected moments. Sharing a curated selection of the published concepts below ✨

Travel & Leisure ETF TV Commercial I produced a high-impact, 15-second commercial for national television (BNN Bloomberg) and a multi-channel digital campaign across YouTube, Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The goal was to launch Canada’s first travel ETF by tapping into post-pandemic recovery, positioning TRVL as the premier way to invest in global airlines and resorts. As lead producer and editor, I used cinematic pacing and bold typography to ensure the message resonated in both sound-on (TV) and sound-off (social) environments. The asset generated massive view counts and served as a vital "visual elevator pitch" for the sales team, simplifying complex fund benefits into a clear, high-energy value proposition that drove immediate investor interest.

Covered Call ETFs Explainer For the Covered Call ETF Explainer, I produced a 3:25m masterclass designed to demystify how Harvest generates monthly income while capturing market growth. To ensure technical accuracy, I conducted deep-dive sessions with portfolio managers, translating dense financial concepts like "strike prices" and "33% cap overlays" into digestible, high-end visuals. The primary challenge was preventing viewer fatigue during a complex mathematical breakdown; I solved this by developing a premium visual language where concepts "build" in real-time. By blending rhythmic pacing with professional sound design, I transformed a difficult educational topic into an engaging, professional asset that builds immediate investor confidence.

In the SchoolCash Forms Explainer, I produced a 1:25m motion graphics video showcasing the digital transformation of paper-heavy processes for North American school districts. Partnering closely with KEV Group product managers and experts, I mapped the entire form lifecycle—from application to final payment—to ensure complete workflow accuracy. The primary challenge was effectively visualizing the "mess" of manual paperwork, including security risks and illegible writing, without cluttering the screen’s aesthetic. My solution was a "Show & Share" narrative style that used stark visual contrast to transition from paper chaos into a clean, UI-focused digital walkthrough, successfully positioning the platform as the modern standard for school automation.

I delivered a full-cycle production for Harvest ETFs to simplify complex retirement income strategies for Canadians. Using raw CEO footage, I managed the entire post-production workflow to create a premium, high-trust brand asset. Professional Narrative: Engineered tight pacing from raw footage to maintain viewer engagement. Dynamic Motion Graphics: Designed clean, data-driven typography and UI overlays to reinforce key financial concepts like RRIFs and RRSPs. High-End Storytelling: Curated and color-graded premium B-roll to build an emotional connection with the target demographic.
