Kicking off my next project. And this one is personal. Very personal. Meet "The Zaiqist Kitchen" a food delivery and restaurant app built for people who genuinely care about food. My wife is opening her own restaurant, and before we build the restaurant space, we’re building the experience. What makes this project different? We’re not designers guessing what users want. We are the users. My wife and I have explored restaurants across Lahore - Different cuisines, Price points, Areas, and Experiences. We’ve experienced what makes a food app feel easy? What builds trust? And what makes you want to close an app when you’re hungry at 11 PM. So for The Zaiqist, we’re turning those real experiences into real design decisions. From a warm, dark splash screen that feels like entering a restaurant… To a login screen with a hero burger that makes you hungry before you even sign in. Simple. Warm. Hungry. This is Day One. More screens. More decisions. More of the journey coming soon. P.S. Great products start with deeply understanding the problem. We didn’t just research The Zaiqist. EduAI - Voice-Enabled AI Tutoring Platform for Students Role: Senior UI/UX Designer | Interaction designer | SaaS | Web Designer Description: Edu AI is an intelligent, voice-enabled tutoring platform that helps students complete homework, practice reading, improve pronunciation, and receive personalized learning support through AI-powered guidance, transforming homework and reading practice into a guided, confidence-building learning experience. Challenge: The platform needed to serve two very different users at once: children who needed a simple, encouraging, low-friction learning experience, and parents who needed visibility into their child's progress. On top of that, the core interaction of uploading textbook/homework images and turning them into AI-guided tutoring had to feel effortless and non-intimidating for young learners. Outcome: The final product delivers a modern AI-powered educational platform that combines adaptive learning, real time tutoring, and parent-focused analytics within a simple and accessible user experience. The role based interface reduces cognitive load for children, streamlines daily homework routines, and enables parents to personalize learning strategies while monitoring long-term academic progress through actionable insights.
