As the creative on this project, I got to build this brand from the ground up; brand strategy, positioning, identity, packaging, website, AND the brand photography. The whole damn thing! A brutally honest, anti-traditional, brand that is here to shout from the rooftops how important sleep is, but in a *cool* way. Every detail was designed to feel real, raw, and self-aware. The brand has now been featured in numerous press and articles talking about the approach, and how they've stood out in the sleep and wellness space. Sleep or Die™ (https://sleep-or-die.com/) is one of those projects that reminded me why I love what I do. Still one of my favourite projects to date.

The best kind of portfolio update is seeing the work keep working!! Last year, I helped build the foundation for Sleep or Die (https://contra.com/p/mWXgcXE7-sleep-or-dietm-or-brand-strategy-and-development-web-design?referralExperimentNid=DEFAULT_REFERRAL_PROGRAM&referrerUsername=georgiamashfordcreative), from brand strategy and identity to creative direction and photography. 🤯 Just this week the brand has gone on to receive $1M in funding, and I’ve been seeing accounts with 75K–100K+ followers sharing the brand and some of the photography I created in those early stages. While the brand has evolved since my initial work with them, it’s a nice reminder that the early stuff matters. The strategy, the visuals, the tone, the way a brand shows up before most people know who they are; it all becomes part of the foundation. Very grateful to have played a role in getting this one off the ground!!

I solved this by creating a clean, user-friendly e-commerce layout with well-organized product categories, streamlined navigation, and visually engaging sections that highlight different occasions and products. This project focused on refining DropSet's Shopify header and navigation to create a clearer, more consistent browsing experience across desktop and mobile. What I improved • Header layout and presentation • Navigation hierarchy • Menu organization • Mega-menu structure • Spacing and alignment • Desktop navigation behavior • Mobile navigation behavior • Responsive consistency • Supporting storefront styling Approach Rather than replacing the existing theme, I identified the specific navigation and layout issues and made targeted improvements within the Shopify storefront. Result A cleaner navigation system that helps customers understand the storefront structure and move between important products, collections, and information more easily. Completed for DropSet, my independently operated Shopify e-commerce brand.

The problem Several storefront elements required better behavior across screen sizes, including spacing, alignment, overflow, sizing, and overall layout consistency. What I improved • Mobile spacing and alignment • Responsive section behavior • Horizontal overflow issues • Element sizing and positioning • Desktop-to-mobile consistency • Header and content spacing • Layout behavior across multiple viewport sizes Process I inspected the affected sections across different screen sizes, identified the relevant theme and CSS behavior, implemented targeted fixes, and retested each change across mobile and desktop. Result A cleaner, more consistent responsive storefront that maintains the intended design across major screen sizes. Completed for DropSet, my independently operated Shopify e-commerce brand.

I redesigned and optimized the page to make the product easier to understand and the buying process easier to navigate. The problem The original page presented the core product information, but the buying hierarchy and supporting information could be much clearer—especially on mobile. What I improved • Reworked above-the-fold hierarchy • Clarified resistance-level variants • Strengthened product benefit communication • Positioned trust elements closer to purchase actions • Added structured product information and FAQs • Improved mobile spacing and readability • Created repeated CTA opportunities • Improved the overall buying flow Implementation The work was implemented directly within Shopify with responsive behavior and storefront usability in mind. Result A cleaner product-page structure with better clarity, stronger product education, and a smoother mobile shopping experience.
