happy International Women's Day! This illustration is from an article I illustrated on financial communities targeted toward women. Even in 2026, and even in developed countries, women still face plenty of financial challenges from lack of education, lack of skills training in negotiation, limiting beliefs about self worth and pressure to be "polite", and implicit and explicit discrimination. I'd be really interested in seeing @Contra HQ's breakdown on how much women creators on the platform earn vs men. If there's a gap (as I expect there would be), let's find out why and figure out how to smash it!

Sharing a rare behind-the-scenes look at my illustration process 👀 When clients first come to me with ideas, the first step is always to build a shared goal for the final illustration with them 🤝 After making sure we're on the same page about the goal of the final product, the next step is always to provide several sketches ✍️ I’m a very messy sketcher in general 😅 and I’m always impressed by illustrators who do really meticulous sketches with shading and fine details. Somehow though I’ve always been lucky to have clients who trust my process (and have excellent imaginations) and can make the leap from a scribbled mess to the finished product 💡 Any illustrators out there want to share your process for sharing sketches?
