Have you ever tried to use AI to move faster, only to realize doing it yourself was quicker? I designed a landing page for JIG fully built on a grid in Figma. Then I used three AI tools to build it, even feeding them detailed context through MCP. None executed it properly. One built only part of it. One ignored the grid. One was close, but still wrong. Yes, AI can do it. But in my experience, you need near code level precision to get high quality output. The ironic part is that building it in Framer was the fastest route. The grid system was already there and the layout was clear. Trying to shortcut the process with AI actually slowed it down. P.S. The landing page is still a work in progress, so tablet and mobile views are not done yet.
